Haha~ You know, it would be good to provide some info about the series. Say, for instance, what the plot might be about? ^^

Anyways, this is one of the more recent anime series I've been watching. I really have thoroughly enjoyed it--thanks much to the shonen-ai/slashy implications it tends to feed off to the viewers. XD The characters are developed quite nicely and as always, Yukiru Sugisaki's artwork is nothing less than amazing. [Uwah~ Krad-sama.. *drool*] I would recommend this to all, but it seems to more of a fangirlies choice. ^.^

[Daisuke niwa]

Daisuke Niwa was an average teenager... until his fourteenth birthday.

After being rejected by his crush, Risa Harada, Daisuke realizes that something is wrong. Very wrong. Poor Daisuke had inherited the Niwa family's 'curse'. When he feels strong emotions (namely towards Risa) Daisuke transforms into The Legendary Phantom Thief- Dark Mousy. After the transformation, Daisuke is shoved into the passenger seat as the art thief takes command.

A charming part of D.N.Angel is the love... circles... it contains. Daisuke has a crush on Risa Harada who thinks him too plain to be a boyfriend. Risa, however, is in love with Dark who immediately rejects her. Dark is oddly attracted to Riku Harada, Risa's twin sister. Riku, in turn, dislikes Dark and (?) seems to fancy Daisuke. Satoshi, a boy in Daisuke's class, appears to have feelings for Daisuke and tries to protect him while, at the same time, tries to capture Dark Mousy. Krad, dear Krad, is obsessed with Satoshi and tries to kill both Daisuke and Dark.

The plot revolves around Daisuke Niwa, a fourteen-year-old boy, who, after being turned down by his crush, Risa, becomes possessed by the infamous "Phantom Thief", Dark. Now, whenever he feels strongly about Risa, the sweet, innocent Daisuke turns into his kleptomanic alter-ego- and there's nothing Daisuke can do to stop him.

One of the interesting things about this anime is the love quadrangle between Daisuke, Dark, and the Harada twins. Daisuke likes Risa, and seeing her can turn him into Dark. Risa, on the other hand, developed a crush on Dark after watching his first heist in forty years on the news. That same night, Dark and Riku kiss (it's only purpose was to get her to stop screaming, though), so now Dark seems to have feelings for Riku and uses her picture to change back to Daisuke. And finally, Riku, who feels sorry for Daisuke after Risa turns him down, seems to grow to like him. Simplified: Daisuke -> Risa -> Dark -> Riku -> Daisuke.Dn Angel, a manga by Yukiru Sugisaki, is about a not-so ordinary boy named Niwa Daisuke and his alter ego, Dark Mousy. When Daisuke sees his crush, Harada Risa, he transform into Dark. But if Dark sees HIS crush, Harada Riku, well...needless to say, he transform back into Daisuke

::Niwa Daisuke:: Daisuke is one of the 2 main characters in Dn Angel. He transformed into Dark during his 14th birthday while thinking about him and Harada Risa (he confronted her and told her he likes her).

::Dark Mousy:: Dark is the famous thief that existed even 40 years ago. He loves to tease Daisuke. Dark also has a crush...the twin sister of the person that Daisuke.......
::With:: With is the cute little bunny-lookalike that follows Daisuke around. He transform into a big black-winged creature when he's with Dark. With also has a habit of pronouncing Daisuke's name wrong...he says it "Daisuki".with is a stupid rabbit that cant do anything

I've only seen the artwork and the numerous pictures floating around online. But yeah, I really want to either watch it or read it. Which is better the anime or the manga?

I've only read the manga up to about volume 4. I like it so far that story is pretty intresting. And it might seem geared towards girls more but there is enough action to keep most of the boys occupied. I myself sorta like the romance and all.

I saw a couple of episodes a long time ago, not bad...not great either, but then again I shouldn't judge a 26 episode show by 4 episodes.

I have volume one of the DVD.

The voice acting is kinda cheesy, however...It's quite good.

I have just recently read the manga for this an i have fallen in love with this manga lol. I have manga volumes 1-5 so far i plan to get all of them lol. Its well dran and i love the chracters.

I've watched the anime and read some of the mangas. I enjoyed it though I personally perfer the Manga to the anime.

I myself have viewed a few episodes on On Demand when they were once adding it to their anime category and I remember this being in 2004 or 05 or so, and I truly enjoyed the series! This is when I had no idea what anime was exactly and despite to the many clues I'd seen on television (pokemon) had no idea anime was so POPULAR. So, unfortunately I never read the manga but then again, fell in complete :inlove: love with the anime!!
