on yunalesca i can get to her final form and then i just die because she kills me with here curaga she uses what can i do to safe gard my people

Cure like 2 of your people of zombie. But don't cure them all because if I recall correctly she has an instant death move that effects all you party.

yah all you have to do is have 2 people with zombie status dont worry if your zombie people die because if they both die and you revive them the first move she'll use is the the one which makes you a zombie just use a holy water on one person

There's a few different things you can do. In the Zanarkand Dome, mug the zombie monks to get a 'Candle of Life'. I think you need 20 to make an armor "Zombieproof". Don't have all characters with it though, unless you have Auto-Life (I had it at that point, and used it to ensure I didn't die). Her Mega-Death attack will kill all your characters that aren't in the zombie status. Once she casts Mega-Death, you can use a Mega-Phoenix to revive the fallen characters (although it will kill your zombie character). If you're afraid of Curaga or Regen, you can always cast Reflect on your zombie characters. However, it will just heal Yunalesca, which may or may not prove any better.

The way i done it well it could be classed as the risky way. I just left my team zombied when her 2nd form was nearly dead and continued to lay into her i saved Overdrives for her last form aswell to take some HP down. I casted Haste etc all benefical status magic you can use and revied members when they died and just layed into her eventully she kicked the bucket.

I just saved all my Aeon summons for that form. Oo and make sure your guys are all zombies before you kill her first form. Then mage death of whatever doesn't work.

I just had most of my characters Zombied. Then when she does Mega-Death, only 1 dies. When she casts Regen on a zombied character, use a Holy Water, the Regen will still be on except this time she'll heal.

One time I fought her I got her to heal Tidus like, 3 times, and I had a a couple characters with Regen on them that she cast. The best way is to save your Overdrives till her last form, then use them, or you can whip out some aeons and beat her that way. But I'm pretty sure your aeon will only get one move before she kills is so make sure when you summon your aeon its Overdrive gauge is full.

i had all 3 of my characters wear zombieproof armor but close ot the end of her second form i start using my aeons and also disequip zombieproof from 2 characters

Just train a lot. Sound like a crap strategy but it'll work. Then try following what these guys have to say.

The first form takes 1 hit to get outa usually. Once you get zombie on the 2nd power through as fast as ya can, yeah. Usually then it's super easy. The only real trouble is the 2nd form, just get through it fast.

This is going to sound really stupid, and probrobly is but use reflect on all your characters. And then just use those Rikkus +1000 potions at heal yourself.

Actually that might work. If she can get hit by her own Zombie, then you could use the potions and heal spells on her. Full Life XD, though that probably wouldn't work.

Although that would work under normal circumstances...it wouldn't on a boss. Too bad.

Yeah, that's one thing that gets my goat about FFX. All the mad awesome strategies you think up can't be used on bosses because they're like invulnerable to all status effects. They try to dumb us down for when the real bosses come or something.

Yeah that really isn't kewl how you can't use well thought strategies on bosses. Well one that works for a boss that cures himself alot is using reflect on him. Although it won't help with Yunalesca.
