Since when does all poetry have to be depressing? Really, give it a rest.

HAHAHAHAHA
Real poetry, moron :/
People write what hey want, you dont like it dont read. I personally write sad poems because it is easier to make people realise the little beauty there is in the world.
Others write it for other reasons. Stop complaining.
if you and selkie are calling me a poser-goth and emo kid.. then uhh.. thats mean D:

You cant judge poetry like that... Real or not real... It's all real.
There is more to say about it, but that's the short version of it.

I write what I guess is depressing because..well(as Eyes said) that's what I feel like writing.

No, but you can try provoking feelings in others. And it can work. <gives tetsie a cookie and a hug> There there, aren't you happy at all now?

That's it right there.
Sorry, guys (the ones who find it annoying) but you can't change it.
- Edit -
That should be:
You can't make someone feel something else
Of course you can try, but still.
Many people here have gone through periods of different feelings... They wrote about that and we could all read it... Yes, lately it has been on the sad side... But that's how life goes... Cliché, but true.
And btw, I know one or two poets who write the most amazing love poems.
For example, Aeris and Hurinami.

I haven't read Aeris' poems, but I can certainly agree with you regarding hurinami's poems. They are lovely. :|
