Clannad After Story. The first few episodes feel like filler nonsense, but it's got a strong turn-around and reminds me of why I like Clannad so much to begin with. The emotional attachment to the characters builds up in season 2 as they go through more trying times. It's kind of a rare thing (for me at least) when you find yourself hoping nothing goes wrong to the main characters even at the expense of a particular episodes "excitement". I'll stop my doting now, but if you are into slice-of-lifes check it out nao.

Omg yeah. It's pretty damn disturbing. The story is okay/good from beginning to (almost) end if you can bare with the unbelievable blood spatter.

Currently watching Moribito. I'm liking it so far. It lacks a certain something (maybe moeness?) that a lot of anime I've watched recently has had. That is a good thing.

I watched this a while ago, not my favorite choice of a series but I gotta say its not all that bad.
If you enjoy such slice of life stuff, you should check out lovely complex & bokura ga ita. both are hilarious & satisfying.

^I've watched the first episode of Bokura ga ita a long time ago. I heard it's really good though. I should check it out again maybeh.

Just finished watching Claymore. Awesome stuff imo. Needed a change from all the slice of life stuff, this was it. The utterly hopeless feeling during fights and surrounding the plot is what makes this anime for me. Shame I doubt there will ever be a season 2. So many unanswered questions. Not for everyone though.
