It is now possible for Square Insider members to comment news articles. The comment system is using the so called "Web 2.0" technology called AJAX which allows behind the scenes data transfers so that the page does not have to be reloaded when a request is made.

Check out the update here: http://www.squareinsider.com/index.php

It has been tested in the following browsers:
  • IE7 (Windows)
  • Opera 9 (Windows)
  • Firefox 2 (Windows)
  • Firefox 2 (OS X)
  • Safari (OS X)
  • PlayStation 3 Browser
I have also re-written the authentication system used on the main site so that it will always remember you if you are logged in. Unlike before when it only remembered you for about an hour.

The new user authentication might also give members access to more exclusive features later. If you have any suggestions of what you would like to see please post here.

Also If you have any problems with the new features please post the name and version of the browser you are using along with your problem/question.

I dont have time to visit the forums so very often but the new comment system rocks! It works well with Fedora Core 7.

It think it should work. I remember reading a interview with some guy from Opera that all versions of the browser have pretty much the same features.

Maybe someone with a DS would like to test? :P
