umm so i'm finally switching from dial-up to highspeed internet, i was wondering, my deal is gonna be i get 7500MB in downloads. is it possible to play PS3 games online over PSN without downloading too much? on average how big are PS3 upates for games? is the weekly PSN store update very big in size? does stuff download every time you play online? is it possible to survive on 7500MB a month? lol. including youtube? anyone have experience with satellite internet? and if you go over the download threshold limit do they just cut you off for the rest of the month? >.> sorry that's a ton of questions, but i couldn't think of anywhere better to find the answers. :P

You should be okay if all you do is download updates, play games, and watch youtube videos.

HOWEVER, A typical demo of 1GB is 1024 Megabytes so that's roughly 14% of your monthly bandwidth.

Make sure we're talking about Megabytes and not Megabits for your bandwidth... if it's Megabytes, you should be okay, if it's Megabits, well.... yeah, it's slightly larger than a CD.

If you plan on watching youtube on your computer, download a bandwidth monitoring program to give you an idea of what your rates are. I don't know the specifics of your particular telecom, but Comcast will cut you off if you go over your limit of 250GiB twice in 6 months.

You should be fine as long as you don't download any demos. You should try to monitor your usage to make sure you don't go over. I don't know about the US, but most Australian ISPs let you check your usage online.
