I honestly think that the FFX Battle Effects before you enter a normal battle and before a boss is like the best thing ever.
Its better than every other battle effect you get, including FFXIII.
Here is the Normal FFX Glass Shatter Effect
(14 to 16 seconds in vid)
And the Boss Battle Effect, which is the best effect ever
(20 to 25 seconds in vid)
It beats every other games effects, especially FFXIII

I hated it in ff x it always startled me. xD i like ff viii and ff xiii battle effects.

ff13 is the same and isnt really special. if you hated the shattered glass the fade in and out is defiantely the best however
