Just Make sure u have the Excalibur 2 and Zidanes ulitmate weapon and try to have auto haste float and auto regen on.
have Vivi , Steiner , Zidane and Either Eiko or Daggar in the party as u can use Steiner to attack and Whack Zidane to Whack its balls off and Vivi v.good use of magic as well as eiko or daggar as one of they has holy

I don't know how to get Excalibur 2. And i dont know how to get Zidanes final weapon either lol

You get Zidanes by completeing the Chocobo hot&cold game.
You get Steiners by getting to the water part in Memoria in under 12 hours, then fight Hades to get Save the Queen, Tin Armor, and Pumice. after Hades there should be a chest beside the stone it holds the Excalibur 2

Just dive in and attack the crap out of him. Use magic if you use Vivi, and just destroy him. Add a lot of status effect abilties, because when he uses Grand Cross it will put a bunch of status effects on your guys.

wait till zidane gets into his trance and do 9999 damage, and keep using strong magic and attacking with people, and you win. Thats a pretty vague stradegy but thats how damned easy the final boss is.

if u have amarant use aura and keep casting curaga have vivi cast flare and get zidane to trance then use grand lethal twice will kill him

It took me awhile but I found it helpful to have two healers (Dagger and Eiko). I equipped as many status-effect cancelling thingies as I could, and had Freya jump to avoid the Grand Cross attack. I had Eiko use Holy, Dagger summoned Odin (With the Dark Matter he was doing more damage than Bahamut, and a lot less MP), and Zidane used regular attacks. I beat him eventually. 0_o

game2 consists of zidane vivi dagger and freya



well anyway i use flare magic with vivi and steiner, and i summon odin a bunch of times with dagger. and physically attack w/zidane and use his most powerful attack when he is in trance mode. and BOOM you win and last boss is nothing.

lol. The last boss should be a no brainer. He's so easy to beat i mean come on. I could beat him at like lvl 60 and i dont know what lvl you are but come on. You don't even need the ultima weapon to beat the last boss. Trance Kuja was harder to beat than the last boss. To me FF9's boss was the easiest boss of all to beat.

It's so easy to beat and it doesn't need any strategies anymore.

Have everyone above lv 60 have either dagger or eiko in your party casting curaga at every turn
Have steiner and zidane use their strongest attack and vivi his best magic attack.
Equip them with ribbons cause of his grand cross attack and it'll help to have people in trance mode.
Its how i beat him the first time and never fails.
