Final Fantasy VII: Last Order is an addition to the Final Fantasy VII Advent Children film and part of the Compilation of Final Fantasy VII. It is an Original Video Animation that was released with the "Ultimate Edition" of Advent Children. The anime cuts back and forth between the two flashbacks that took place in Final Fantasy VII, linked by the Turk commander Tseng's reflection on the Nibelheim events. Last Order also forms the basis of the Final Fantasy VII: Crisis Core PSP game, and serves as a tie-in with the mobile phone game Final Fantasy VII: Before Crisis, as several of the game's playable Turk characters appear as minor characters, with some even getting spoken lines.
