The latest installment in the Final Fantasy series, Final Fantasy XII is finally released in Europe. The story takes place in the world of Ivalice which is at war: the nation of Archadia and Rosaria locked in a bitter contest for domination and supremacy of everything in between them. The Kingdom of Dalmasca takes center stage as it is invaded and taken over by the Empire of Archadia. When the King is murdered, and the Princess disappears, all hope appears to be lost for the people of Rabanastre, as the Archadian consul is soon to be chosen. Vaan, a street urchin, runs into Princess Ashe who has joined a resistance group against the Empire. Together, the two are thrown into a perilous quest to free Dalmasca, and learn of the treacherous politics within the Empire of Rosaria.
