In the annual Famitsu Awards, Square Enix’s latest RPG epic, Final Fantasy XII for PS2 tied with Pokemon Diamond & Pearl for Nintendo DS for 'Game of the Year'. The creator of the Final Fantasy series, Hironobu Sakaguchi, walked away with ‘Most Valuable Person of the Year’ while his Xbox 360 title Blue Dragon, garnered the Novice Game of the Year, as developed by Mistwalker.
