NEW GAME - Countdown Page (Update 5) |
|
Square Enix are following in the footsteps of Mr. Hype also known as Hideo Kojima and have put up a countdown site of their own. The site features some nice MIDI music, a hand-drawn dragon, a large "4" and a timer that ends in 160 hours (next Sunday). Could this be Hikari no 4 Senshi (4 Warriors of Light)? I guess we'll find out in 160 hours. Update 1: They have now added a boy with a sword. Update 2: They have added a girl behind the boy. Update 3: A second girl has been added. Update 4: A second boy has been added (a mage). Update 5: Countdown has ended and Hikari no 4 Senshi website is open. The game has already been confirmed to be Hikari no 4 Senshi: Final Fantasy Gaiden (4 Warriors of Light: Final Fantasy Gaiden) in the latest Weekley Shonen Jump issue.

any ideas as to what game this could be? anyone know of a game series by SE that stopped at 3?
lol kojima burn. countdowns are rly getting annoying though.
Romancing SaGa 4?
could it be Final Fantasy V for PSP?
I doubt ffv as v is 5... Maybe its a new ds game?... But then again I have yet to play ffv and am unawares of how many main characters there are. It could be a ds remake
Doubt it's an FF game, unless its a new series. Music sounds 8 bit.
could be a sequel for Romancing SaGa, like FFFanatic said. or could be a sequel for the SaGa series, since SaGa series stopped at 3 aswell and the 3 was last released for the gameboy.
After seeing the girl and boy for the fist time....... WHAT IF... and this is HUCHE!!! (huge) WHAT IF, this is the FOURTH ff TACTICS game... look at the art style of the eyes... im looking at it on my 47" lcd, and the girls eyes remind me a lot of ovelia's.... WOW, if it is... WOW.
The art style is reminiscent of Tactics I agree. But after some research (and actually reading the article) I'm 100% sure its this Hikari no 4 Senshi. Plus, this IGN article verifies it. (Might want to update the main article) http://ds.ign.com/articles/100/1000331p1.html
yeah, its FFGaiden: Hikari no 4 Senshi. Release in JP this fall, designs by Akihiko Yoshida (FFXII, XIV). All the other stuff is in th eign article. Enjoy a scan: http://i71.photobucket.com/albums/i160/xntn/4warriors.jpg
