At long last, a new trailer for Final Fantasy Versus XIII is here. And it's a long one, with almost 7minutes of cutscenes, gameplay and so much more.

It looks great. you can even see some of the character's names (Noctis, Ignis and Gladioto) in those neatly animated battle menues. Speaking of battles, the engine seems to be reminiscent of a higher-powered KH title.

No release date was given, however, and the company has stated that a final decision on exclusivity will be made by E3 2011.

For what it's worth, Game Director Tetsuya Nomura is apparently quite adamant in wanting to keep it PS3 Only~

Truly an impressive game. I just couldn't get enough with its gameplay esp the battle with the Behemoth. So remniscent with KH exclude the cartoon theme.

Who's that mysterious hot chick who weilds an awesome sword? Most likely Stella. And I think that old dude who also wears a black suit is probably Noctis' father.

Yeah, the bearded man is Noctis' father. I think he's also the king of the area in the game, making Noctis a prince.

Guns and mecha!!! It looks like it has a range of third-person battle styles, let's hope they nail at least one of them.

Heared that XIII2 will be released first before this game and that armored chick isn't stella and another chick antagonist.

Director Tetsuya Nomura is interviewed in the magazine and said that because they're trying to do a number of incredible things and the focus is on quality, they will need more time. He joked that because Duodecim Final Fantasy, Final Fantasy Type-0 and Final Fantasy XIII-2 are all due out this year, players should forget about Versus for the time being.
