Namco's RPG Tales of Symphonia for GameCube and Square Enix's Shinyaku Seiken Densetsu (Sword of Mana) for Game Boy Advance, both of which debuted in Japan on August 29th, sold 166,752 and 165,069 copies respectively so far. Previously, Namco had mentioned it is projecting sales of 500,000 copies for the newest Tales installment in Japan.
Tales of Symphonia will be available in the US in early 2004, while Nintendo America will release Sword of Mana on December 1st, 2003.
