Square Enix recently announced that a sequel to their popular PlayStation 2 action RPG Hagane no Renkinjutsushi: Tobenai Tenshi (Full Metal Alchemist and the Broken Angel) is in the making. The new title will be named Hagane no Renkinjutsushi 2: Akaki Elixir no Akuma and will feature and the story will be based on the first part of the popular anime series.
Fullmetal Alchemist has sold over 250,000 copies in Japan, the North American version will be released sometime early in 2005. Fullmetal Alchemist 2 has yet to receive a release date in Japan.
