After initailly planning to end the first season of Fullmetal Alchemist at Episode 25, Cartoon Network will air the series for an additional week to feature a few new plot points before pulling the show off-air for the summer schedule. In addition to tomorrow night's episode, "Words of Farewell", Cartoon Network's Adult Swim will air Episode 26, "Her Reason" on May 7th. Following those episodes, the series will then go on it's scheduled hiatus and return for the fall season. SquareInsider will also begin posting the official Episode Previews provided by Adult Swim each week. Preview of Episode 25: Words of Farewell Ed and Al claim they've quit they're search for the Philosopher's Stone and board a train heading south. Meanwhile, Lieutenant Colonel Hughes' investigation of the Fifth Laboratory leads him to a startling discovery of military corruption and conspiracy that could topple the entire national government. Fullmetal Alchemist airs each Saturday at 11:30pm EST, with a repeat airing every Thursday.  Tags: Fullmetal Alchemist: The Series.
